I walked south through my alley, watching the numbers to the right of the decimal dwindle until I arrived at the grassy strip between the street and the sidewalk, on the north side of Arthur Avenue, between Clark Street and Glenwood Avenue. The app gave the coordinates of my home as 42.00037 degrees north. I actually bought Laurie Lee’s A Rose for Winter last year to take to Granada, and indeed read that chapter while there.
